Description

Modular technical alpine climbing tool (Type 1) designed for highly technical snow and ice climbs.

The Phoenix delivers extreme technical performance in a stripped-down, ultra-light design. Shaped to be as technical as an ergonomic ice climbing tool, it offers precision on ice while remaining exceptionally lightweight and versatile. It can be pushed to the most demanding alpine objectives, yet remains suitable for classic mountaineering.

Its modular design allows three configurations:

  • Full feature mode with two grip positions: tech pommel down and upper pinky rest installed.

  • Full-length mode with a sliding lower handrest: ideal for classic mountaineering, allowing smooth transitions between piolet-canne and climbing modes.

  • “Minimal” mode: tech pommel and pinky rest removed, functioning as a lightweight alpine tool for classic objectives.

The single-piece hydroformed aluminum shaft provides strength and responsiveness. The tech pommel ensures secure anchoring and multiple hand positions. Fully adaptable, the Phoenix covers the full range from classic alpine climbs to highly technical, demanding ice and snow routes.

Compatible with pick weights and Alpine pick.
