Description
The ultralight and hyper-compact hybrid crampons for ski touring and classic mountaineering.
Harfang crampons are ultralight (377 g per pair without ABS) and hyper-compact, designed for ski touring and classic mountaineering. With a chromoly steel front rail and aluminum secondary and rear rails, they offer an excellent balance between performance, weight and compactness.
Our patented concept is based on a central textile strap that connects the front and rear rails and allows the crampon to be positioned in the most suitable configuration based on the application or the geometry of the boots. One size fits all.
The flexible strap linking system minimizes bulk while offering remarkable precision and comfort. The heel pivot is equipped with a micro-adjustment dial to fine-tune the crampon on the boot.
It is an automatic crampon that adapts to all ski touring boots featuring a toe welt, as well as mountaineering boots with a rigid sole and toe welt. Supplied with ABS.
The crampons come in a bag that can be attached to your belt or clipped onto your backpack. Its compact design takes up minimal space while keeping your crampons close at hand.
Note: The ankle strap has no end stop. Be sure to tie a knot to prevent loss.
Comes with:
- Standard toe bail and semi-auto toe basket
- Harfang crampon bag

Instructions
Light, compact, fast & easy to use. My favourite skitouring crampon.
Not sure yet if I’m a big fan of the Teeth in the middle add extra piece for what? For the rest, well done blue Ice!
Fantastic for ski touring and mountaineering, great weight and space saver

Great crampons
Light and compact
The best lighweight crampons!
Acheté ces crampons poiur ski rando. Poids super.
Small and light, helps with my back pain!
I have trouble fitting them back into the pouch though - is there a how-to video, that I missed? Would help a lot!
Excellent product
I wrote a bad review earlier, cos they dont fit on snowboard boots. It was more my fault than any, nowhere did it say fits snwbd boots. So sorry for that. However, petzl makes a basket toe clip on for snowboard boots. They sell it separately and it fits my blue ice.. I will leave a propper review when I get the delivery from petzl. Still psyked on using them
Super acquisto!!!!!
Does not work for snowboard boots. Need a wide toe clip step in like the competiters have.. Im so bummed out about this, was really looking forward to theese
Hello Torvild,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the Harfang crampons do not meet your needs. As stated in the product description, our crampons are designed for ski touring or mountaineering boots, and are unfortunately not compatible with snowboard boots. We understand your disappointment and thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
The Blue Ice team
The first impression is very good. Being able to fold the crampon too small is great and saves a lot of space in the backpack. The crampon fits on my ski touring boot very well and can be adjusted much better than my previous crampon from Petzl. The workmanship is well-roofed and very good. Unfortunately, I have not been able to test the crampon in terrain yet, but I am looking forward to it....
Compatti e leggerissimi.
Definitely the nicest looking crampons I ever owned. They seem to be well build and thought through. The fitting needs some practice due to the stretch of the webbing in comparison to a classic crampon.
Changing the toe piece takes some practice, force and the right technique but the fit is great once it's on.
Overall great product. Would definitely recommend
Great crampons. perfect combi of light and durable. Thanks a lot Blue ice!
Perfect
As mountain guide and skier this is my only choice for ski touring and steep skiing,
Nothing could be better than them!!
Love you Blue Ice to do this technical and light gear, you made my days up in the mountains much easier!
