MARKETING MANAGER

BLUE ICE is seeking an experienced marketing manager to join our team located in our international Head Office in Les Houches (74), France. Successful candidates must have a proven 5+ years background in Branding, PR and Digital marketing, as well as strong communication skills. Being bilingual EN/FR is a must. Must be a self-starter, strategic and hands-on and be able to bring novel thinking to all aspects of their work.

Mission:

Reporting directly to the Global Sales & Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will :

  • Define, lead and apply the brand global marketing strategy,in consistency with the Company general strategy.
  • Manage and implement a strong Digital action plan through website and social media
  • Be responsible for the brand image, making sure it helps sales growing through stronger brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Lead european PR efforts and actions
  • Set up the marketing tactics to reach the global sales and marketing goals in every targeted market and in respect of the allocated budget
  • Set up measurement and follow up tools to evaluate the efficiency of these tactics, and present the results to the Company’s management team regularly

More precisely, the Marketing Manager will:

  • Survey the local and global trends regarding mountain activities, products, technologies and behaviors, digest them and feed/share the gathered data and conclusions with the rest of the management team
  • Lead the implementation of the Company’s choices of communication tactics, select actual and potential communication channels and implement the selected tactics
  • Conceive, set up and coordinate any tool, action, communication network aiming to improve or facilitate the Company’s relationship with its environment (service providers, suppliers, prescriptors, ambassadors and athletes, partners, customers…)
  • Manage, organise and coordinate the communication development plan to build the products promotion, as well as the brand awareness and reputation, with a strong focus online
  • Manage the content creation of the several communication tools (copy, pictures, videos, online…), making sure the brand voice (both visual, written, heard) is consistent anytime and anywhere, in line with the brand standards, and in coordination with the brand mission, values and vision
  • Define and supervise tactics to optimize the relationship with actual and potential customers : website, newsletters, social media, public relations, blog, promotions, advertizing, events, sponsoring, partnerships, etc
  • Supervise the BLUE ICE athletes and ambassadors crew, making sure they reflect the brand values and represent the brand positively
  • Be the key contact person to our marketing service providers and partners

Requirements:

  • Proven background in marketing management, especially branding, PR and eCommerce
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing/Communication and 5+ years of experience in related positions
  • Mastering the Adobe Graphic Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom)
  • Mastering online marketing tools, including website management, CRM & social media
  • Excellent communication skills and curiosity for the latest marketing & communication trends
  • Strong team player while being autonomous
  • Bilingual EN/FR is a minimum, any additional language a plus
  • An apetite for mountain and climbing activities is definitely a plus
  • Being ready to travel internationally a few times a year

SALES COORDINATOR

BLUE ICE is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team located in our international Head Office in Les Houches (74), France. Successful candidates must have a proven 5+ years background in Sales coordination, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Being bilingual EN/FR is a must, speaking German is a plus. Must be a self-starter and be able to bring novel thinking to all aspects of their work.

Mission:

Reporting to the European Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator will :

  • Oversee the daily sales follow up, whether they’re generated by distributors, sales agents, stores, pros or end users online. He/she will be their key contact and will interact frequently with them.
  • Be responsible of the customer satisfaction, by providing an optimal customer service, both from a quality and a delivery timing level.
  • Be a key player in any brand event on the field, whether dedicated to stores, pros or consumers.

 

More precisely, the Sales Coordinator will :

  • Coordinate sales, including : dealing with customers’ orders (from distributors, stores, pros, consumers), all the way from orders collecting to billing and shipping
  • Daily deal with orders, deliveries, status through our ERP system
  • Daily watch the orders status, in order to deliver them on time
  • Update sales information and database and sharing any change with our customers
  • Be the customers key contact, and make sure the relationship is the best possible (by email, phone, or direct)
  • Frequently visit stores, to better know our customers, competitors and the market trends
  • Deal with after sale service, including proucts returns
  • Daily interact with the international sales force, coordinate clinics and sharing sales info, be on the field with the agents and gather any noticable feedback for the management team
  • In relationship with given partners (marketing team, sales agents, etc), coordinate any European event BLUE ICE is involved in, from trade shows to community-oriented events,making sure these events happen successfully
  • Coordinate the online sales, including updating the product pages, prices, and dealing with online orders
  • Provide any sales-related report to the management team on request

Requirements:

  • Proven background in international sales coordination, including with key accounts
  • 5+ years of experience in related position
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong team player while being autonomous
  • Bilingual EN/FR ; a third spoken language is a plus (ideally German)
  • Fully at ease with MS Office Suite ; knowing MS Dynamics is a plus
  • An apetite for mountain and climbing activities is definitely a plus
  • Being ready to travel internationally a few times a year

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

BLUE ICE is seeking an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team.

Mission:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will :

  • Oversee the daily sales follow up, whether they’re generated by distributors, sales agents, stores, pros or end users online. He/she will be their key contact and will interact frequently with them.
  • Be responsible of the customer satisfaction, by providing an optimal customer service, both from a quality and a delivery timing level.
  • Be a key player in any brand event on the field, whether dedicated to stores, pros or consumers.

 

More precisely, the Sales Coordinator will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

  • Month and end-year process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Payroll and utilities
  • Treasury, budgeting
  • Cash forecasting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Trust account statement reconciliations
  • Check runs
  • Fixed asset activity
  • Debt activity
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports, statements
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinating and completing annual audits
  • Providing recommendations
  • Improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions
  • Assigning projects and directing staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

Requirements:

  • French & English fluent
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven working experience (mini 1 year) as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, ERP and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amount of data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations (especially French ones)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
