| alpinist & future mountain guidebasecamp: Chamonix
Tomas Mueller, future guide with Argentinian roots, was introduced to us through our team insider German Allende. Being out climbing it was Tomas who heard Argentinian cursing coming from a rock next to him. It was German who was, loudly, untying a knot in the rope. Since then the two have been climbing, ski touring, drinking mate (traditional Argentinian infusion) and sharing a lot of good times in the Chamonix valley.
Back in Argentina, Tomas time was divided by music studies at the Conservatory of Buenos Aires and climbing in Bariloche. Not always an easy choice and to make some thinking he left Argentina to discover his Italian, German and Spanish heritage. Being a passionate climber he couldn’t resist passing by Chamonix, where he stayed, progressed and started to make himself at home. One thing led to another and to his great joy he ended up being accepted to ENSA, the national school of mountain sports. Today he is about to finish the training to become a mountain guide and we believe he has a brilliant future and many happy clients ahead of him.
